Customer Background

A leading new energy battery manufacturer required a more reliable slitting solution for advanced electrode materials.

During production of a new battery material, the customer experienced rapid knife wear during electrode slitting. The electrode surface was coated with aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) ceramic material, which significantly increased material hardness and abrasion during the cutting process.
